DKI Jakarta DPRD has appointed Husein and Wawan Suhawan as members of the DKI DPRD from the PAN faction to replace their son Haji Lulung, Guruh Tirta Lunggana and Riano P Ahmad. Riano revealed the reason he and Guruh resigned from the seats of the DKI Jakarta DPRD.
Riano said he and Guruh decided to move to the United Development Party (PPP). Riano and Guruh admitted that they were preparing for the upcoming 2024 Pilleg.
“I resigned from the seat of the DKI DPRD, which had about 2 years remaining because I and Guruh Tirta Lunggana decided to return to my old party PPP to prepare for the 2024 Pilleg,” Riano told reporters, Tuesday (2/8/2022).

Riano said he would focus on growing PPP in Jakarta after not serving as a member of the legislature in Jakarta. He hopes to continue to fight even though he has resigned from his seat in the DKI DPRD.
“I’m out of my comfort zone for a bigger struggle, God willing. After not serving as a member of the legislature, I will focus on growing the Kaaba Party in Jakarta,” said Riano.
Riano and Guruh will focus on restoring PPP’s glory and continuing to maintain the relationship between ulama in Jakarta. This is in accordance with the mandate conveyed by the late Haji Lulung.
“One of them is to continue the friendship with scholars and habaib in Jakarta to continue and continue the positive values pioneered by the late Haji Lulung PPP fighter,” he said.
“Me and Guruh will focus on restoring PPP’s glory in accordance with the mandate of the late Haji Lulung. Bismillah, after this, we will immediately go around Jakarta to maintain the tradition of friendship with scholars and habaib that the late Haji Lulung had built during his life,” he continued.
