Anadolu Efes beat the Serbian representative Red Star, which it hosted in the 34th and last week of the Euroleague regular season, 100-55.

In the 4th minute of the match, where both teams started the attack sluggishly, the guest team established a 5-4 advantage. The dark blue-whites, who made a 7-0 run from Ercan Osmani and Pleiss, brought the score to 11-5 in the 6th minute. Entering the second half with a 6-0 run thanks to Hollatz and Ercan, Anadolu Efes increased the difference to 20 points (51-31) in the 21st minute. Continuing its good game with the support of over 15 thousand fans at Sinan Erdem Sports Hall, the home team finished the third quarter ahead 76-44. In the last seconds of the period, Red Star’s Milos Teodosic approached the referee after receiving a technical foul. The star basketball player was then disqualified with a second technical foul.

In the middle of the last quarter, there was tension between Anadolu Efes’ Jones and Red Star’s Bolomboy. The referees disqualified both players.

Anadolu Efes, which played comfortably against its opponent who had no pretensions, left the court with a difference of 45 points, 100-55.

ANADOLU EFES WILL COMPETE IN THE PLAY-IN

Anadolu Efes could not perform well in the Euroleague this season compared to recent years. Completing the regular season with 17 wins, the dark blue-whites managed to get their name into the play-in.

Anadolu Efes’ opponent in the play-in will be determined after the Baskonia-Virtus Bologna match to be held tomorrow. The dark blue-white team will face the team that lost the match tomorrow. If Anadolu Efes wins the match, it will face the loser of the 7th and 8th regular season matches.

The dark blue-white team will play the first match of the play-in at home on Tuesday, April 16.
