Through posts on Instagram, the actress, who has spent most of her life in Mexico, asked for the restoration of peace, as well as respect for the victims.

Layevska also posted a series of photos from when she was a child living in the former Soviet Union. In the images she appears playing the violin, and in another stop next to a piano.

“I was born in the Soviet Union, in a place where there were no borders or divisions. Today I live in Mexico but it hurts my soul to see the conflicts where my family and friends live. I ask for respect, love and prayers for all the innocent people who are in the conflict zone. We hope that peace will return soon. I embrace you with all my heart”.

The actress of soap operas such as “Primer amor a mil per hora”, or tapes such as “In the time of the butterflies” and the series “The flowers”, expressed that the theme of war hurts her and prays for world peace.

“It’s hard for me… it hurts me a lot. The world hurts me… I pray for La Paz”.
