Ana’s dress, made of luxurious black tweed with subtle metallic sheens, is a unique fusion of elegance and boldness. Inspired by the duality between the masculine and the feminine, she presents a silhouette that exudes power and empowerment. Her marked shoulders add a touch of glamour, while the tweed fabric provides a sense of timeless sophistication. The corsetry element at the waist, delicately crafted in guipure, offers a captivating contrast that enhances femininity with subtle sensuality. “We are not so used to seeing a red carpet proposal based on tailoring. It has a tinge of modernity that empowers women and brings together the best of what is masculine and feminine,” defended guest Inma Jiménez, director of Harper’s Bazaar and creative director of Hearst Spain. “Today it is not that you have left your comfort zone, it is that you have directly made it disappear. The best thing is that, in this process, you have not lost a bit of your personality. Quite the opposite. Your style comes out very reinforced after this impeccable and precious exercise in design and construction,” said Alejandro G. Palomo.

Ana will enjoy specialized training in Fashion Design at the Madrid Higher Fashion Center, of the Polytechnic University of Madrid. Furthermore, because she is the winner, she has received a cash prize of 50,000 euros and the golden mannequin of the program. Ana and Ángel, yesterday in the final

Ángel surprised with a spectacular design and an important story

Ángel, a 33-year-old Sevillian, grew up among fabrics and threads with the teachings of his mother and grandmother. Sewing began as an escape valve for him from many problems and now it is his great passion, although in the workshop where he works he has to carry out administrative tasks, much to his chagrin. He is a tireless worker and the most requested apprentice by his colleagues. For six years he tried to enter ‘Masters of Sewing’ and in this edition he has become a finalist. “Today you have sewn with your heart, with your soul in your hand. Above all, you transmit a message of hope and improvement. You promised your grandmother and I assure you that today she will be very proud of you, as we are,” the judges congratulated her.

His proposal collects everything bad that happened to him in the past and, with it, creates something beautiful. It was based on “that child who went to bed many nights feeling alone,” explained Ángel, who “grew up with many insecurities, fears,” and life gave him setbacks, until, as an adult, he was dealt “the hardest blow.” hard, which is being diagnosed with something bad.” Ángel made a red dress, because it is his mother’s favorite color, with a hood and a long train, which represents everything bad that has happened to her in the past. In addition, he added an opening to the skirt, to give it a sexy touch. He used a natural silk mikado to achieve those large volumes. “It’s impressive everything you’ve managed to do in such a short time. It is a dress of tremendous magnitude. I love that there is all that history behind it and that it speaks so well about you. It is an impressive piece of work and it leaves us with our mouths open. You make our work worthwhile and make us feel proud to be here,” Palomo told him.
