Since then we have only been able to see it in specific coverage such as that of the death of Queen Elizabeth II of England. She was also in charge of presenting the special program that, on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the program to which she has now returned, Weekly Report, was held at the Guggenheim Museum Bilbao.
False retirement
If his departure from the News News was somewhat surprising, it was no less surprising a few days ago that a rumor claimed that Blanco had requested his retirement early and was permanently leaving Televisión Española. It was just that, an unfounded rumor that was immediately denied by RTVE itself. And so on until this very last week the official confirmation arrived that Ana Blanco is the new face of Informe Semanal. She has experience in the format since she presented it between 2007 and 2009 when the News News presenters took over on a rotating basis.
In addition to this return to the long-running TVE program, Ana Blanco, as was already announced at the end of last year, will be in charge of When everything changes, a program that is in the final filming process and in which she will travel to places in those in which historical events have developed that she has been in charge of narrating during her career.
A career for which she has received countless recognitions such as the Best News Presenter Award on three occasions (2000, 2004 and 2005), the Golden Antenna, the Golden TP, the Golden Microphone, the Lan Onari distinction from the Basque Government. or the Ondas for Best Presenter in 2015.
