an update gives them the best S20 options

Samsung is currently rolling out an update to the Galaxy A51 and A71. For the occasion, Samsung was not stingy with additions since the manufacturer offers its two smartphones some of the features of its high-end, the Galaxy S20.

The latest update that benefits Galaxy A51 and A71 has something to delight the owners of these two mid-range smartphones. Both models inherit functionality Single Take and Night Hyperlape borrowed among other things from Galaxy S20 released last February. Enough to benefit from some of the options of a high-end for a much more modest sum.

The A51 and A71 take advantage of functions borrowed from the S20

Single Take allows you to take a whole series of photos over a period of time varying from 3 to 10 seconds. Each photo is then analyzed by the device’s artificial intelligence, which selects only ten on arrival. The 10 best shots are offered to you and it’s up to you to select the one (or those) that will appear in your photo gallery.

The mode Night Hyperlapse proposes to improve your photos taken day and night, but in low light conditions. A filter is applied on the plate in order to highlight certain elements. And if the proposed filter does not suit you, it is perfectly possible for you to adjust the settings and thus create your own. The features in question had already benefited the S10 and Note 10 earlier this year.

Finally, both A51 and A71 benefit from a small update dedicated to manual focusing and shutter speed. Both devices take advantage of other features, not related to the photo this time. Their virtual keyboard is for example capable of instantly translating text, while the Gallery application can group similar images and thus facilitate navigation between each photograph.

If Samsung has not yet specified the exact date of deployment of this update, the site GSMArena reports that these features have been available on the A51 since last month.
