At least 17 people have died after a bus fell from a 15-meter bridge in eastern Brazil, the Estado de Minas Gerais reported, quoted by DPA.
Twelve died on the spot and five in hospital, the G1 news portal reported, citing data from the fire service.
Nearly 30 passengers were injured in the crash near the Joao Monlevade area in the state of Minas Gerais in the early afternoon on Friday (local time).
According to the newspaper, the presumed cause of the accident was a failure of the brakes.
