The weather today will be mostly cloudy. There will be light rainfall in places, mainly in Eastern Bulgaria. By noon, the rain will mix with snow, in the north-eastern regions – with icy conditions, announced by the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology (NIMH). Atmospheric pressure will be close to the average for the month.

Over South-West Bulgaria there will be temporary cloud breaks. In most of the country it will be almost calm, in the eastern regions – with a moderate northerly wind. The minimum temperatures will be between minus 1°C and 4°C, in Sofia – zero degrees; the maximum will be between 4°С and 9°С, in Sofia – around 5°С.

Over the Black Sea it will be mostly cloudy with showers and thunderstorms. It will blow to a moderate northerly wind. Maximum temperatures will be between 5°C and 8°C. The temperature of the sea water is 9°С-10°С. The excitement of the sea will be 2-3 bales.

It will be mostly cloudy over the mountains and light snow will fall in places. The wind will be weak, mainly from the west-southwest. The maximum temperature at 1200 meters will be around 2°C, at 2000 meters – around minus 2°C.

Over the weekend it will be mostly calm or with light winds from the west-southwest. Visibility will be reduced in the flat part of the country in the morning. Cloudy weather will prevail on Saturday, only in some places there will be light rain.

Sunday afternoon will see more significant breaks and reductions in cloud cover. The minimum temperatures will be between minus 1°C and 4°C, lower – in the high fields in Western Bulgaria, and the maximum will be between 5°C and 10°C.
