An old acquaintance returns to “Grey’s Anatomy” in season 18

Earlier this year, it was confirmed that there will be an 18th season of the series success “Grey’s Anatomy”.

This year’s season off the hospital series focused on the worldwide pandemic, and Dr. Meredith Gray, played by Ellen Pompeo (51), were in a coma for much of the season due to infection.

Thus, the creators of the series also saw their cut to bring back well-known and beloved medical faces, to the great joy of many.

In May, however, sad news appeared for the fans. Then it became known that actor Jesse Williams (40), who has played the role of Dr. Jackson Avery for more than twelve years, thank you.

He will thus not be seen in the coming season, but fans can still look forward to another reunion with a well-known character from the series.

This week it became known that Dr. Addison Montgomery will return to the TV series next season. The role is played by actress Kate Walsh (53), and the good news was shared on the series’ official Twitter account.

People is among the media covering the case.

“Well, well, well, see who it is. That’s right, my dear, Dr. Addison Montgomery is coming back to Gray Sloan Memorial Hospital, and I’m so happy to be home again and working with Shonda, Ellen and the rest of the wonderful cast, “Walsh said in the video.

– Changed my life

Walsh appeared in the hospital series in the season finale of season one as the wife of Derek Sheperd, played by Patrick Dempsey (55).

She remained as a surgeon in the series for several seasons before leading the spin-off series “Private Practice” from 2007 to 2013.

The actress has previously stated that she had loved the opportunity to once again walk the halls of Gray Sloan Hospital.

When asked by People in March if she would ever return to “Grey’s Anatomy”, she replied: “Absolutely”.

However, Walsh is not the only one returning in the upcoming season. Kate Burton (63) also returns in the role of the mother of Meredith Gray, played by Ellen Pompeo.
