On Saturday, a fire broke out in an oil depot in the Belgorod region of Russia, near the border with Ukraine. This was reported by the BBC’s Russian-language server with reference to the governor of the region Vyacheslav Gladkov, according to whom this occurred after the bombing of the locality by the Ukrainian army.
“We saw the bombing again. One of the missiles hit an oil depot in the Belgorod region. The firefighters are already taming the fire, there is no danger of the flames spreading,” Gladkov wrote on the social network. Telegram. He later said that the fire had already been extinguished.

The TASS news agency reported that one in ten tanks was damaged in the oil depot near the village of Razumnoye. Razumnoye is located about 11 kilometers from the city of Belgorod.
Ukraine, which has been facing a Russian invasion since February 24, does not openly claim such attacks. Observers remind us that Ukrainian territory is being bombed by Belgorod and the surrounding area, so it could be retaliatory actions. Through Belgorod, supplies also arrive to Russian troops who are trying to conquer the entire Ukrainian Donbass region, writes the DPA agency.
