An official statement .. The Football Association clarifies its position on the suspension of an Egyptian coach

The Football Association released an official statement this evening on Wednesday clarifying its position on the suspension of an Egyptian manager by the Confederation of African Football after it was proven that he had falsified a training license.

The CAF disciplinary commission, led by Raymond Hack, had previously decided to ban Egyptian coach Ahmed Adel Ibrahim from practicing any activity related to African football for a period of five years due to the forging of his training license.

In its statement, the Football Association clarified the truth of what has been circulated by the media in the last few hours regarding the suspension of an Egyptian coach, after it was shown that he had falsified his training license, turning to the Confederation of African football.

The statement states: “The decision was issued by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) to suspend the coach, after presenting a license awarded to him.

He added: “Training licenses of any kind are not issued by the Egyptian Football Association, as they are issued by the Confederation of African Football.”

He continued: “The Egyptian Football Association, represented by Dr. Gamal Mohamed Ali, Director of the Federation’s Coaching Department, reviews the names of all the Egyptian coaches who have attended training courses, directly with the African Union, to make a complete inventory of the names of all Egyptian coaches who have obtained training licenses in their various categories “.
