An object with a Russian inscription fell near Olsztyn. New information

The event was going to happen on Wednesday around 20. The police arrived at the site, reports the local portal. “Although it was initially suspected that it might be a weather balloon, it was quickly noticed that there was a capsule attached to the object with inscriptions in Russian,” we read.

Then, information from RMF FM shows that the police, but not the army, appeared at the scene of the incident. The object that entered Poland is said to be a weather balloon.

This is not the first case when objects from outside the eastern border enter Poland. In June of this year a Russian balloon entered Polish airspace and flew over the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship to the east.
