An-Nahar Explores the Site of Israeli Bombing Near Rashidieh Camp through Pictures and Videos

The night of the Israeli escalation in Lebanon has ended and the extent of the damage caused by the Israeli strike, at dawn today, on the vicinity of the Rashidieh Palestinian refugee camp, in the city of Tyre, south Lebanon, has been revealed.

An-Nahar camera examined the site of the bombing, as it showed the extent of the damage in an open area adjacent to an orchard. The bombing left a hole in the road, sparked a fire, and damaged an electricity transformer and damaged banana and citrus orchards.

At dawn today, the Israeli army bombed the vicinity of Rashidieh camp, while no information was received about injuries. The Israeli army also announced the targeting of 3 targets in Lebanon and 10 sites in the Gaza Strip.

Three explosions were heard in the Tire area, hours after Israel announced that 34 rockets had been fired from Lebanon towards the western Galilee.

The army said in a statement: “We will not allow the terrorist (Hamas) organization to operate from inside Lebanon, and it holds the State of Lebanon responsible for all directed fire emanating from its territory.”

In the statement, the Israeli army held the Lebanese state “responsible for firing from its territory.”

For its part, the “UNIFIL” forces confirmed, in a statement, at dawn on Friday, following the bombing carried out by Israel on the south, that the two sides “do not want war,” calling on them to calm down.

And the international force deployed in southern Lebanon announced that the Israeli army had informed it of its intention to respond to the missiles fired from southern Lebanon, before explosions sounded in the vicinity of Tyre. She explained that “both sides said they did not want war.”
