The service provided to children has its own specifics and must take into account the complexity of examining children under 5 years of age. After all, the child must lie still. Therefore, for young residents of the region, MRI examinations will be carried out using anesthesia,” said Gulzhan Ermekbaeva, director of the Mangistau Regional Multidisciplinary Children’s Hospital.
The Eshelon Smart device is capable of treating patients weighing up to 200 kg. Diameter – 60 centimeters. Today, the MRI room is staffed by two employees. This is radiologist Nurperzent Sanatbekuly and laboratory assistant Dinara Shamieva, specially invited from Astana.
– The device has its own program. Here you can examine all organs of the body. Using an MRI machine, diagnostics are carried out within 30-40 minutes. It is possible to accommodate 6-8 children per day. But in the future, the number of appointments may increase as needed,” said radiologist at the Mangistau Regional Multidisciplinary Children’s Hospital Nurperzent Sanatbekuly.
