Stephan Bonnar was one of the most important fighters to ever fight in the Octagon,” added UFC President Dana White.

Bonnar competed on the 2005 first season of The Ultimate Fighter where he made it all the way to the finale. He then lost to Forrest Griffin, but their fight made UFC history. He also gave Bonnar the opportunity to sign with the organization.
