An itinerant bus from the Clece company will tour Galicia to offer 280 jobs

The bus will make stops in Ferrol, Oleiros, Lugo, Santiago, Vigo and Ourense, where it will carry out 500 interviews with candidates who will apply for positions as nursing assistants, nurses, cooks, cleaners or psychologists, among others

An itinerant bus from the Clece company will tour Galicia in the coming days to offer 280 jobsthe so-called Galicia Route Project, which was presented this Wednesday at the Cidade da Cultura with the participation of the Minister of Employment and Equality, María Jesús Lorenzana.

In total, more than 500 interviews will be held with candidates who will apply for positions linked to the services and cleaning sector, such as, among others, nursing assistant, nurses, cooks, cleaners or psychologists.

The bus adapted will be between May 9 and 18 in Ferrol, Oleiros, Lugo, Santiago, Vigo and Ourense, covering 75 locations, as if it were an itinerant employment office. In the words of Lorenzana, the initiative aims to strengthen the presence of essential services throughout Galicia, so it will be “a boost to employability and the social field”.

To participate in the project, It is necessary to register in advance on the website www.galiciaemplea.es or by calling the telephone number 900 80 56 17and, in this way, the candidates will be summoned to attend the job interview.

The counselor has valued the work carried out by Clece in Galicia since 1992. It is a firm with which the Xunta collaborates to promote the hiring of women, people with disabilities and/or at risk of social exclusion.

Lorenzana, in addition, recalled that the Xunta is supporting this year the employment and training of these two groups, in addition to those under 30 years of age, with the Emprega Muller, Youth and Disability-Social Exclusion plans, totaling nearly 134 million euros of investment.
