The Italian Matteo Malucelli won the third stage of the International Cycling Tour of Bulgaria, which passed through Burgas.
The competitor from part of the Japanese team JCL Team Ukyo. Today’s stage was 180.5 kilometers long from Kazanlak to Burgas.
Lorenzo Cataldo of Vinny Munzon’s team finished second and Adam Carl of Epronex third.
The Burgas final was in front of the municipality building, where dozens of citizens of Burgas gathered to watch the end of the cycling stage with interest. The winners received their awards and then celebrated with champagne.
Manol Todorov, deputy mayor for sports in our city, presented the award to Malucheni.
The Italian’s team-mate Giovanni Carboni kept the “yellow jersey” for the leader of the general classification until that moment.
The violet jersey for the most active athlete was awarded to Luka Torku from the “Levski” team.
The Hungarian Marton Dina from ATT became the winner of the “white jersey with red dots”, which is given to the best climber.
The official start of the fourth stage will be given in Primorsko, and the passage through the territory of Burgas will be around 12:30 on 28.08.2024 along the following route:

During the race, in order to ensure safety, the movement of cars will be stopped in stages.
At the time of the passage of the column and the withdrawal of the cyclists, traffic will be restored.
