A nursing home in the Israeli city of Herzliya was damaged after being hit by debris from a downed drone. In the nursing home, Beth Juliana, there are many elderly people of Dutch background and Holocaust survivors. No one was injured in the impact.
Beth Juliana was hit around 10pm local time. This is the first time since the start of the war between Hamas and Israel that the care home has been damaged.
Drones from Lebanon
According to the Israeli army, damage was caused by drones fired from Lebanon, The Times of Israel reports.
One of the drones was shot down, another drone or pieces of it hit a building in Herzliya, possibly the nursing home.
