An infectious focus of Covid-19 was spotted by the services of the Regional Health Agency, in Vigan
(Gard), said this Sunday evening the prefecture. In this city of nearly 9,000 inhabitants, 13 cases of people positive for the coronavirus have been recorded.
The city, in conjunction with the academic services of national education, has decided to close all schools of the municipality from this Monday.
Gatherings limited to 10 people
In addition, in order to limit the spread of the coronavirus, any gathering on the public highway (other than professional activities, transport services and guided tours) may not bring together more than ten people for three days.
This prohibition relates in particular to funeral ceremonies organized outside establishments open to the public. In the case of funeral ceremonies organized in cemeteries, the maximum number of people is limited to 20. Provided that all of them wear a mask and respect the rules of physical distancing in force.
