An increase in participation at midday

Despite the Covid-19 epidemic and the long queues caused by the new measures of physical distance, the Mahorais mobilized for this second round with participation at midday increased compared to the first round.

In Mayotte, municipal elections are the favorite election of voters. And today, they were no exception to the rule. Despite the Covid-19 epidemic which rages on the territory, the Mahorais want to do their civic duty and choose their municipal and community advisers.
Everything has however been done to reassure them and most polling stations enforce physical distance measures with marking on the ground, soap, water or hydroalcoholic gel. Pens and masks are provided to those who have not brought their own.

The midday participation rate today greatly exceeds that of the 1st round
