‘Bad Boys: Ride or Die’ en steelbook
The fourth adventure of the rebel police officers played by Will Smith y Martin Lawrence once again enjoyed public support, so it is a mere matter of time before another one arrives. Personally I enjoyed ‘Bad Boys For Life’ a little more, but that does not mean that it is good entertainment and that many are eager to get this steelbook at the price of 32.95 euros.
In purely audiovisual terms, it is an impeccable edition that guarantees you the best possible version of the film to watch today at home. Somewhat more disappointing are the extras, with many promotional pieces that are barely around 7 minutes, the juiciest being the selection of five deleted scenes not included in the final cut.
‘Bad Boys: Ride or Die’ Review
‘Captain Phillips’ on steelbook
An attempted film based on real events that greatly benefits from the great management of tension from the staging of Paul Greengrass and for the excellent interpretation of Tom Hanksespecially during the final stretch of footage. I also do not forget the good work of Barkhad Abdijustly rewarded with an Oscar nomination.
For its 4K debut, a metal box edition based on the film’s original poster has been chosen, something that is almost always a good idea. Of course, do not expect new additional content compared to the previous edition on blu-ray, as the same ones are included. In return, the improvement in the visual section is indisputable and can be yours for 27.95 euros.

‘Inside Out 2’ on steelbook
The new movie Pixar has put an end to the crisis the studio was going through by becoming the highest-grossing animated film of all time. I think the first installment is much better – that’s also where ‘Inside Out’ is my favorite from Pixar – but that doesn’t mean it’s not a good pastime with several extremely fun moments.
The main drawback of this steelbook is that Disney is still committed to releasing Pixar films only on Blu-ray in Spain. It is true that the price is adjusted – it goes on sale for 25.99 euros – but surely collectors would appreciate having it in 4K, especially when in the United States and the United Kingdom it is released in UHD. By the way, it may not have too many extras, but the deleted scenes section is essential, something common in Pixar’s physical format editions.
I add an image so that you can get an idea of how it fits with respect to the steelbook from the first delivery, drawing attention to the contrast between the chosen colors. A priori, the only thing that bothers me a little is the spine, where there are many differences between one and the other.

One of the most outstanding titles in the filmography of Brian DePalma debuts in 4K with a metal box edition whose design is based on the original poster of this erotic thriller inspired by the cinema of Alfred Hitchcock. Furthermore, everything indicates that this steelbook that goes on sale at the price of 27.99 euros is going to fly, so don’t wait too long if you want to get it and still find it somewhere.
Furthermore, this new edition has a good amount of additional contentwhich were conspicuous by their absence in the previous Blu-ray edition released by Sony in our country. Of course, the best option is still to combine it with the blu-ray released in other markets by Indicator that includes some extras not present here.

From Avalon They have made a titanic effort to release a pack that brings together the vast majority of the filmography of one of the most important directors in the history of cinema. It is true that some very important titles are missing – for example, ‘Cleo from 5 to 7’ It was previously released by A Contracorriente Films, but it remains an essential acquisition for any lover of his work.
In addition to a careful presentation – although it is true that the Wong Kar Wai Universe looked brighter – the pack also includes an extensive book by Imma Merino, who conducted one of the last interviews granted by Varda. Of course, you will only find it in Avalon’s own official store. at a price of 89 euros.
