There are some people who are infected with the new Corona virus and are afraid to inform those around them that, as they view the disease as a “stigma”, and are afraid that those around them will cut off their relationship with them even after they recover.
That is why we find that some infected people begin to mix with other healthy people while hiding the truth about their infection, which is what the President’s Health Affairs Adviser Dr. Awad Taj al-Din warned against, stressing the imposition of penalties on those who do so.
Dr. Awad said, in his statements, that according to Law No. 29 of 1982, those infected with the virus will be held accountable as a result of their contact with citizens despite their knowledge of infection, which puts people’s lives at risk. Pointing out that a fine was applied to them, ranging from 1 EGP to 20 EGP.
The advisor to the president indicated that this comes in light of Egypt preserving the privileged position that it has reached in controlling the virus, stressing that the current time does not require any complacency in facing Corona.
