This is also good news for those who wish to travel from the northeast to the southeast of the Pink City by public transport, without having to go through the city center.
New line Linéo
Wednesday April 7, 2021, Woven has announced the construction of a new “express bus” line, in plain language, a new Linéo line, as there are already nine in the city.
As a reminder, through road improvements and the priority given to these Linéo buses at traffic lights, the Linéo lines are, in fact, less subject to the vagaries of Toulouse traffic, which is always very complicated. These lines are especially better timed than the classic lines.
What is a Linéo?
A Linéo is a high-frequency bus (one bus every 5 to 9 minutes in peak hours, 15 minutes in off-peak hours), with extended hours (from 5.15 a.m. to 12.30 a.m.) with an improved journey time thanks to dedicated facilities to buses.

Commissioned in 2024
This new Linéo 12 line, whose commissioning is announced for September 2024, aims to “create a transversal structuring axis in the east of the Toulouse territory”, indicates Tisséo in detail.
“The Linéo 12 route represents 14,5 km and comprises 36 stops. Within a radius of 400 meters, it serves 46,000 inhabitants, 18,000 jobs and more than 5,000 college / high school students (2013 data). The Linéo 12 takes all or part of the routes of the current bus lines n ° 19, 23, 36, 37. It will therefore lead to an adaptation of these bus lines ”.
The future line will link Borderouge to Rangueil. Its route will run along the ring road for a long time. It will serve rapidly developing districts such as Borderouge Montaudran or Guillaumet, but also residential districts far from the metro such as Soupetard, the lower part of the Limayrac district, St-Exupéry Bréguet and Rangueil

Stops will also be positioned at the Cité de l’Espace and the Halle de la Machine.
The goal of attendance is estimated at 16,000 travelers / day.
The overall project is estimated at 9.5 million euros. Sum which includes in particular the purchase of rolling stock and various road improvements.
Before Linéo 12, two other Linéo in service
Before Linéo 12, two other lines of this type must be put into service. A Linéo 10 to serve La Vache, Aucamville, Saint-Alban and Fenouillet and a Linéo 11 which will go from Basso-Cambo to Frouzins.
