Eyewitnesses of the incident reported that they heard the sound characteristic of the flight of rockets, after which an explosion was heard.
A number of Telegram channels reported that a severe fire had started in the city.

It should be noted that before the explosions, alarm sirens sounded in Cherkasy, Kirovohrad, Poltas, Dnepropetrovsk, Donetsk, Kyiv regions and in Kyiv.
Recall that residents of the Nikopol district of Dnepropetrovsk region urged to be careful: due to the movement of enemy MLRS along the shore of the Kakhovka reservoir in the temporarily occupied territory of Zaporozhye, there is a danger of shelling.
