The “112” hotline of the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) received information about an explosion in a residential building located on Ismet Gayibov Street, Dashkasan city.
According to the information obtained by SIA from AZERTAC, the press service of the Ministry informed that the forces of the Dashkasan District Fire Protection Unit of the State Fire Protection Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs were immediately involved in the area in connection with the information.
During the operational assessment of the operational conditions at the scene, it was found that an explosion that did not result in a fire occurred in one room of a three-room apartment with a total area of 24 square meters, which was used as a warehouse, located on the 1st floor of a three-story residential building.
As a result of the incident, the extension of 1 room of the apartment fell on an area of 2 square meters, the window frames and iron bars of 2 rooms were dislodged. Due to the impact of the blast wave, the shoes and other clothing items stored in the room became unusable.
No one was injured as a result of the incident.
Necessary security measures were taken at the scene by the forces of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The relevant agencies are investigating the incident.
