In Kazakhstan, an explosion occurred on the territory of a military unit on Thursday, August 26, the press service of the country’s Defense Ministry reported.
“In a military unit stationed in the Bayzak district of the Zhambyl region, at about 19:00 there was a fire near one of the warehouses. As a result of the fire, an explosion of unidentified objects occurred,” the message says.
The fire brigades of the unit on tracked fire trucks were involved in extinguishing the fire.
“The elimination of the source of fire continues. The causes of the fire are being established. A commission of the Ministry of Defense under the leadership of Deputy Minister Lieutenant General Ruslan Shpekbaev has been sent to the scene,” the Defense Ministry of Kazakhstan said.
Earlier today two the explosion occurred at the Kabul airport… The data on the victims are being clarified, while it is known about 13 dead and dozens of wounded.
