The forum includes business meetings and lectures for the sector by experts
At the end of the week, the largest agricultural fair opens its doors for the 7th time exhibition in North-Eastern Bulgaria – “DANUBE VEGETABLES” 2024. It will take place on November 16, 2024, Saturday, in the Ruse Arena and will attract more than 40 participants from Bulgaria, Romania and Hungary. On over 3000 sq.m. exhibition areas will present fruit growers, farmers, fruit and vegetable processors and a rich variety of products and services for the sector in the best traditions of agricultural production in our country. The exhibition is organized by the association “Union of Danube Fruit Growers”, Ruse, with the support of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food and the State Fund “Agriculture”.
“Danube Fruit Growers” has established itself as an important point of reference in the industry, as it not only presents the native production and processing of fruits and vegetables, but also meets directly producers and wholesalers and retailers, supermarket chains, local and foreign distributors for South-Eastern Europe. said Nikolay Kolev – Chairman of the Board of the Union of Danube Fruit Growers. According to him, the main task of the forum is to present Bulgarian production and stimulate trade and export, which is the most valuable help for farmers in the difficult year we are sending.
Among the participants of the exhibition stand out producers of juices, nectars, jams, jams, honey, dried fruits, nuts, wine, tahini, cooperatives, nurseries, greenhouses, as well as plant protection preparations, drip irrigation, anti-hail systems, refrigeration equipment, packaging, logistics companies, agricultural consulting and financing, insurance, certification companies and others.
“This year we are really pleased to have been able to attract a record number of exhibitors and cover the entire sector, with the full range of products and services for modern agriculture. When a business owner enters the hall, he will find everything he needs for his business gathered in one place,” Nikolay Kolev is proud. The expanded B2B area will become a convenient platform for intensive contacts and negotiations between farmers, traders and distributors. For fans of real natural foods, a rich farmer’s market has been set aside, from which everyone will be able to buy quality local products, directly from the producer.
The established seminar module of the exhibition will also be a focal point for professionals with the selection of interesting topics and expert speakers. “We are glad that Assoc.
