One of the photos of a woman wearing a red shawl running for her life shocked the world. The British Daily Mail exclusively interviewed the woman in the photo for the first time, 25-year-old wedding planner Valada. Vlada Patapov, she has a daughter.

The Daily Mail points out that in recent weeks the world has wondered whether Patalov survived. During the interview, she shed tears after recovering from the fear of the day. Patalov was separated from his partner Matan for most of the day, witnessed the murder of his friend, and narrowly escaped from Hamas gunfire. It took her nearly 24 hours to get home safely and hug her three-year-old daughter Romi.

“I haven’t really talked to anyone about what happened that day, and it’s still very painful for me,” Patalov said. “I’ve shared with my family how horrific that day was, and I thank God every morning that I’m still alive. I sometimes I feel guilty about it because I survived but others didn’t. What happened to me lasted maybe 18 hours, but for others the pain continues. I think of the hostages still in Gaza and we must Can’t forget them.”

Patalov said: “Matan bought some tickets and we went to the music festival with my friend Mai. I did think it was weird to hold an event so close to the Gaza border, and rockets would fly from time to time. Yes. But I think the organizer must think it’s safe.”

However, it is not. Patalov was awakened by an air raid siren on his mobile phone at 6:30 a.m. on the 7th. She said: “I started looking for Matan and Amai, and at the same time I heard gunshots, which were very loud and very close to us. I was stunned for a few seconds, not knowing what was happening, and Matan screamed for us to run. toward the car. Missiles started flying, and the scene went crazy. At this time, the broadcast also asked people to evacuate, and people started running toward the car.”

“I think people initially thought it was just a routine rocket attack in Gaza, but then we looked at our phones and realized it was a real attack, and those terrorists wanted to kill us,” Patalov said. “But I don’t understand why. It was just a music festival, it was peaceful, people were dancing, and they came to kill people, some of my friends, for what?”

While escaping, Patalov saw a man in military uniform and thought he was an Israeli soldier. It was only after he killed him that he realized he was a Hamas member. As Patalov and his party fled in their car, Hamas elements kept shooting at their vehicle. So they chose to abandon the car and run away, and then reportedly managed to escape in a thrilling manner by taking a ride from a good Samaritan.
