The Pierre Lagourgue Regional Hotel in Moufia will host an ephemeral vaccination center this Monday August 02 from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m..
In order to facilitate access to vaccination, the Réunion Region, in partnership with the ARS and the Red Cross, is organizing a local vaccination operation.
This ephemeral center will be open to anyone over 12 years old wishing to be vaccinated without an appointment.
Why get vaccinated?
In a context of epidemic resumption and the spread of the highly contagious “Delta” variant, vaccination is more than ever essential to fight against the epidemic. However, vaccination coverage in Réunion is still insufficient to achieve collective immunity which will only be possible with 80% of the vaccinated population.
The vaccine protects against Covid-19 and its variants and helps prevent severe forms of the disease.
