The company Metalex Recyclage is located on rue du Pont Noir in Firminy in the area of economic activity Park of the Starsfrom the beginning of September.
In the logic of a circular economy, the company aims to a customers artisans, professionals, businessmen and individuals, who want to recycle and value them metal waste (scrap metal, aluminum, brass, copper, stainless steel), by buying from the latter the yield falls according to the price during the day.
“We don’t necessarily know it but things like copper can be worth gold, a ton of copper for example can be negotiated between 7,000 and 8,000 euros,” agrees Alexandre Antoskiewicz, director of Metalex Recyclage.
In addition to the idea value these metalsthe desire of the former PPE (personal protective equipment) and purchase manager of large accounts within the Rondy group (Aurec-sur-Loire), also to renew the image of the metal scrap trade by doing it. “more attractive, open to the outside and easy to access”.
“Any material can be recycled, there are no small savings for individuals, it can be more interesting than throwing it in a recycling center for example.”adds the manager. For now, the leader of the Metalex recyclingalone in charge while he waits to be able to hire an employee to support him, working within a 30 km radius around Firminy with his end customers, but he will also ‘travel to professionals or individuals until the metals. It is also possible to arrange an appointment to take the waste directly to the depot.
