The Bruun Rasmussen auction house offered a rare half-hour recording for sale. It comes from the archives of Karsten Höjen, who, together with other students, interviewed Lennon in January 1970 and then recorded the interview. Lennon and Yoko Ono stayed in Denmark at the turn of 1969 and 1970 to resolve the custody of the then five-year-old Kyoko, who had Yoko Ono from his marriage to American producer Anthony Cox.

According to Höjen, the conversation took place in a relaxed atmosphere, and Lennon even danced around the Christmas tree with the students. Then a member of The Beatles, which shortly announced the breakup, sang the famous song Give Peace A Chance with Yoko Ono. They also added a short melody called Radio Peace, which was created as a jingle for a radio station.

“But the station never started broadcasting and the song was never published. We don’t know that it was recorded anywhere else than on our tape, “Höjen told the BBC.
