The red line to gain followers and impact on social media is very thin. It is common for challenges or trends to go viral from time to time, especially among young people, which can even be dangerous. Sometimes, they even go beyond the limits and disrespect others or attack their integrity. These experiments sometimes end badly, like the famous case of the ‘ex-youtuber’ who called a delivery man ‘anchovy face’.
Well, now, in the middle of summer, Internet users have discovered a video recorded in May by a British influencer Chloe Lopez placing her panties on one of the trays in the bakery area of a Mercadona, as can be identified in the images by the design of the space. “It’s not hygienic”, “how disgusting”… These are some of the reactions on Instagram, where the video that has sparked the controversy is posted. The chain is considering taking legal action.
In the video posted on her personal account, a woman in a black outfit takes off a pair of pink panties, opens a bakery tray, puts the underwear in, picks up her cart and walks away laughing. “Leaving a donation at the bakery,” she jokes in a post that has almost 4,000 likes and 350 comments.
The protagonist, Chloe Lopez, is a British model and influencer who shares this type of content on Instagram to promote her ‘Onlyfans’ account, a platform where users often share intimate photos or videos in exchange for money.
The supermarket is now considering taking legal action against the British company. “Yes, we are aware of the incident and, of course, we have informed the managers and lawyers so that they can assess it accordingly and act accordingly,” sources from the company told the specialist website Supermercados.top.
