An engineer made fake licenses and will pay 1 million to avoid going to jail

This Tuesday, the engineer Andrés Jesus Domínguez he managed to avoid a criminal conviction after concealing an official record. Thanks to an agreement to suspend trial on trial, Domínguez must pay 1 million pesos and give diapers, in exchange for avoiding the legal process against him.

The case began last August, when Domínguez prepared an accommodation report for a tool store located on the Tucumán Avenue, in the center of San Juan. The file was displayed in the Directorate of Planning and Urban Development of the province. However, during a control carried out on September 4 by the staff of the Fire Department, it was found that the data in the report did not coincide with the data of the building, and that the file corresponded to another case, which revealed that the document had been hidden, according to a statement from the Public Prosecutor’s Office.

As a result of this discovery, a complaint was filed and the UFI Genérica opened a criminal case against Domínguez for falsification of a public document. During the hearing in the Court, the engineer, represented by the lawyer Mariela Ordoñez, reached an agreement with the prosecutor Alejandro Mattar, gaining access to probation.

Judge Ana Carolina Parra confirmed the agreement and allowed the trial to be postponed for a period of 1 year. As part of the conditions, Domínguez must pay 1 million pesos in six installments and donate two bags of diapers to Casa Cuna.
