Vitaliy Manasyan, an employee of the Department of Strategic Investigations of the National Police of Ukraine, was at the epicenter of the scandal.
As reported Ukrainian businessman Maksym Shkil on his Facebook page, the incident took place in the Kyiv restaurant “Goodwine”.
The entrepreneur pre-ordered a table in a capital institution, and when he got there, it turned out that it was occupied by another visitor.
“Despite the fact that there was a reserve, we approached and politely explained that the table was reserved. To which the mother heard – вы две дуры, I’ll be sitting here. After that, the visitor threw away the reserve and sat down at the table,” – the school recounts the words of the administrators.
And then threats began and an eloquent description of the prospect of what could happen to those who dared to disturb an “important person”.
“After talking with this “guest” of the restaurant, he began to tell that he would not get up and outlined the prospect of what would happen to me. When people at the next table began to critically discuss the behavior of this visitor, the girl who was sitting with him says – “You don’t even know who we are… The conversation ended with our future being outlined for all of us and the couple left with threats,” the entrepreneur said about what happened.
Maksym Shkil found out that Vitaliy Manasyan, who works in the Department of Strategic Investigations of the National Police, was the impudent visitor to the restaurant.
“A police officer who drives an Audi RS 6 has breakfast at Goodwine and defines the perspective of our future, and for those who do not immediately share his beliefs, he explains in a more ‘literary Ukrainian language with a Russian dialect,'” the entrepreneur noted on the social network.
A little later, information appeared on Telegram channels that the Minister of Internal Affairs Ihor Klymenko gave the order to fire this employee within 2 hours.
What do the police say?
Director of the Department of Communication of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Maryana Reva informed the UNIAN correspondent that the employee of the Department of Strategic Investigations of the National Police of Ukraine, Vitaly Manasyan, was dismissed today, April 21, by the decision of the National Police, as this issue belongs to the competence of the National Police, not the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
“Appointment and dismissal of employees of the Department of Strategic Investigations is the competence of the National Police of Ukraine. Of course, the minister saw the message that was circulated in the mass media. An official investigation was conducted in the morning and this employee was dismissed based on this information,” Reva said.
