The Zamalek Club channel announced that the club’s board of directors held an emergency meeting to discuss the failure to complete the Egyptian we league, after the Al-Ahly and Tigris Valley match that was held in the 24th round of the competition.
Journalist Ahmed Jamal said on the Zamalekawi program today, Friday, that the Zamalek Board of Directors will discuss not completing the League Championship in its current season 2019-2020, against the background of what he described as arbitration errors in the Al-Ahly and Wadi Degla match.
Al-Ahly defeated Wadi Degla 2-0 in the match that was held in the 24th round of the Egyptian We League.
Al-Ahly now needs to win only 4 matches out of the next ten to clinch the league title for the 42nd time in its history.
