A 73-year-old man died after a large fire broke out in his apartment in the capital’s “Levski G” district, the Ministry of the Interior announced. The man jumped from the fourth floor in an attempt to escape the fire, but died in the fall.
The apartment fire was reported just before midnight on Sunday.
Two fire engines were sent to the scene and put out the flames before they spread to the other apartments in the building.
