An elderly couple in Delhi’s Gokulpuri area were allegedly murdered by their daughter-in-law Monica and two of her associates on Sunday. Monica is believed to have sought the help of her boyfriend and another man to carry out the murder. The couple’s bodies were found with their throats slit in their bedroom after their son Ravi had last seen them at 10.30 pm on Sunday. Monica has been arrested, but the police are still searching for her boyfriend and the other associate. The motive behind the killings is thought to be a dispute over property and at least Rs 4 lakh in cash is missing from the couple’s home. The police are continuing their investigation into the matter.
