In recent news, Extra News reported that an Egyptian-Turkish summit is taking place between President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on the sidelines of the opening World Cup.
President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi has arrived in the Qatari capital, Doha, to attend the opening ceremony of the FIFA World Cup, to be held this evening in the capital, Doha.
Ambassador Bassam Radi, official spokesman of the Presidency of the Republic, declared that the president’s participation in this world sporting event responds to the invitation of his brother, Emir Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of the State of Qatar, in light of the close fraternal relations between Egypt and Qatar.
