An Egyptian offers 5 ideas for healthy and easy meals in the workplace

Dubai, United Arab Emirates (CNN) – Do you spend long hours in the office, tired of eating prepared foods during your lunch break, which are often unhealthy and abundant?

This was the case with the Egyptian engineer, Omar Arabi, and many others, until he finally decided to prepare his meals in advance and consume them on the job.

With the opening of the schools, Arabi has encountered a great demand for ideas for preparing lunch boxes for children. She decided to share some of her meals with her YouTube followers. (Watch the video above).

Arabs made sure that half of the meal consisted of fruits and vegetables, more than a quarter of healthy grains and carbohydrates, and less than a quarter of protein sources.

You will notice that the meals prepared by the Egyptian engineer contain saturated and complete nutrients, are low in sugar and have a not strong smell, so you can eat them at work or at school.

What are the highlights?

Arabi puts the egg and cheese omelette on Lebanese bread, then rolls it up like a sandwich. Of course, this meal cannot be eaten without having some kind of vegetables on its side.

Then, the Arabs cut up the red and green peppers, which will make you want to eat French fries, and put a banana for dessert.

You can toast the Lebanese bread in the oven or air fryer, put it in the lunch box, then add the white rice and finally the chicken or ground beef slices.

In addition to this meal, the tahini salad and pomegranate seeds can be prepared in a separate box.

Arabi explained that each person is free to change the ingredients and quantities of these meals. However, it is important that your meal is complete in order to actively complete your day.

Arabi learned to cook from his mother, who cooked for his family every day, even though she was a worker, and from his father, who learned to cook due to his exile, almost all of his life.

From childhood an Arab helps his parents in the kitchen, comparing it to an “experimental laboratory”.

And because he loves experiments, he always changes food seasonings and invents new recipes. Finally, he likes to see people’s reaction to his cooking.

Arabi started a cooking channel on YouTube two years ago, to share his experiences and recipes with others.

At first, I thought his circle of followers would be limited only to his friends and family. It was an opportunity to share the recipes he had been asked for earlier.

Over time, he found that his follower count was increasing, which prompted him to continue on the YouTube channel.
