Al-Marsad Newspaper: Dr. Amal Shukair, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education for Scholarships, explained the differentiating criteria by which scholarships abroad are selected, through the Excellence Course.

And he said, via Al-Arabiya: “The application started yesterday and continues until May, and the comparison takes place after the application window closes. The excellence path is open to all requirements, there is no specific age or specialization, so there were specific criteria for choosing between candidates.

Choucair added, “The first criterion is the grade obtained by the university, and the second criterion is the grade obtained by the student, regardless of majors. The third criterion is that the applicant must present a degree.”

He revealed that there is something special about this course, which is that a student can be sent for a degree that he has previously achieved, and priority here in the comparison is given to the student who has not achieved the degree.
