An Ecuadorian was hit on a New York train | Ecuador | News

An Ecuadorian migrant who was transported on the train in Upper Manhattan, New York, was attacked by another man for no reason, according to local media.

This is reported by the channel Telemundo 47, which indicated that the victim was at the 168th Street and Broadway station when a man brutally beat him.

The Ecuadorian, named Jonnathan Domínguez, was the one who first uploaded a video last Friday, November 20, in which he shows his attacker inside the wagon while his face is bloody.

According to the victim, after being beaten the aggressor began to complain to him for speaking in Spanish, which was probably insulting him or others.

Jonathan had to be taken to a hospital due to the beatings and was told he had multiple fractures in the septum and trauma.

In an interview with the US channel, the Ecuadorian said that this case of xenophobia makes him no longer feel comfortable traveling in the city’s subway.

The Police later reported that the aggressor, identified as Miguel Álvarez, had been detained, but that he was released without payment of bail, but that charges of assault will be charged and must appear in court next February.

“I would like a person like this not to be on the street, because he can do something worse to another,” said Jonatha, a native of Guayaquil. (I)
