An earthquake hit Turkey on February 23

The magnitude 5 earthquake hit 9.76 kilometers underground, according to the Emergency Management and Disaster Management Authority (AFAD).

Turkey also recorded new earthquakes in the Gulf of Hatay. Authorities say 6 dead and 300 injured.
