An Australian woman named MLD has been deported from Indonesia after a viral video showed her arguing with police officers who had caught her riding a motorbike without wearing a helmet. MLD was identified by the Indonesian authorities and was subsequently deported on March 31. The decision to deport the woman comes as part of Indonesia’s efforts to clamp down on foreign nationals who violate the country’s laws.
