A 26-year-old Minsk resident contacted the police with a statement that he had become a victim of cyber fraudsters. A young man wanted to buy theater tickets online for a date with a girlfriend from the Internet, but as a result he lost more than 1.8 thousand rubles, they reported Municipal Department of Internal Affairs Minsk City Executive Committee.
The Minsk resident said that he met a girl on the Internet who invited him to visit the theater together. During the conversation, a new friend sent the man a link to order tickets. The Minsk resident entered personal data in the online order and waited for the tickets to arrive by email. Instead, funds in the amount of 1.8 thousand rubles disappeared from the man’s account.
A criminal case has been initiated on this fact. The police remind you not to click on links sent by strangers.
