An astronaut took a photo of the aurora borealis from the ISS and shared it with us

Josh Cassada is an American physicist, pilot and NASA astronaut who was lucky enough to be on the International Space Station. It can thus observe the Earth from a height of over 400 km and sometimes also take photos from this distance, which most of us will never be lucky enough to do. One such is photography Aurora with the silhouette of the ISS in the shot.

He shared this picture with us on the social network Twitter, where he only added “absolutely unreal”. A few days ago, aurora borealis were very frequent and visible even in places where this is not usually the case (e.g. Stonehenge in Britain). Even such pictures appeared on social networks.
