Today, Wednesday, the official spokesperson for the Saudi Arabian Prosecutor’s Office announced the issuance of an arrest warrant by the competent prosecutor regarding the incident of citizens who lured another person into Riyadh city forcing him to commit acts immoral.
By carrying out the investigation procedures with the accused after his arrest, it became clear that they recognized the victim through a social network application and that the accused had deceived him by using force and violence to rob the victim’s will.
The spokesman confirmed the issuing of the order for the arrest of citizens, preparatory to the completion of the preliminary procedures, referring them to the competent court to ask for the more severe penalties provided for in this regard.
He stressed that such acts are considered serious crimes requiring arrest and carry heavy penalties up to murder, adding that the prosecutor calls for a speedy trial and the issuing of verdicts against the perpetrators.
He also stressed that the Public Prosecutor’s Office addresses all illegal behaviors and anything that violates people’s rights or anything that jeopardizes the peace and tranquility of society.
