Punching then stabbing
According to a police source, it would be a neighborhood dispute that degenerated for a smell of cold tobacco in the common areas of the building. The protagonists first exchanged punches, then stabs.
The emergency services had been called a little before 9 pm for a brawl which had left three wounded, according to a statement from the firefighters: a 36-year-old man “seriously injured”, a 47-year-old man “slightly injured” and a 42-year-old woman “slightly injured”, all three transported to the Calais hospital.
The thirty-something “died of his injuries,” said Boulogne-sur-mer prosecutor Pascal Marconville this Saturday morning, specifying that the investigation initially opened for willful violence would fall under the head of “homicide”.
