A 21-year-old biker was stabbed Sunday afternoon in the center of Oudenaarde, after an argument with two pedestrians, the East Flanders prosecutor’s office said on Sunday. Hospitalized in critical condition, his life is now out of danger.
Around 2:30 p.m. Sunday afternoon, an argument broke out between two pedestrians and the biker. One of the pedestrians pulled out a knife and stabbed the motorcyclist. The latter, aged 21, was hospitalized in critical condition but his life is now out of danger.
One of the two pedestrians was quickly arrested after the attack. The alleged perpetrator nevertheless managed to escape. He was finally arrested, the prosecution announced Sunday evening, shortly after 6:00 p.m.
