An arbitrary choice of the FFF, prosecutions initiated?

The Saint-Priest club is one of the big losers in the FFF’s decisions to end the amateur championships, ranging from the N2 to the Districts. While the club was in 14th place, a relegated first place, when the National 2 championship stopped, the club therefore learned today that it was demoted to the lower floor. An unfair decision in the eyes of its president, Patrick Gonzalez, who gives himself the right to initiate proceedings against this arbitrary choice as we can read in the press release from the club below.

Many imagined it, the French Football Federation announced it today, all the amateur championships will not come to an end. The FFF has also unveiled the main lines of the terms of accession and relegation.

At the national level, the federation announced that nothing would change in terms of climbs and descents despite a premature cessation of the championships. Consequently, the leader at the end of the championships is promoted, the three relegates are demoted. On March 7, after a 3-2 defeat against the Dolphin Grasse, the ASPC fell in the red zone for only the 4th time in 21 days. A position of relegation unfair in view of the calendar initially planned for the end of the season. In the return phase, the ASPC played six league games: against the 2nd, 3rd, 4, 5th, 7th and 11th and had to play 3 of the last 5 on the field! Our association therefore had every chance of taking the points that it would have needed to maintain itself! Patrick Gonzalez, president of the association, gives himself the right to initiate proceedings against this arbitrary choice.

Regarding the National U17s, 10th (out of 14) at the time of the championships, they will again play at the highest national level next season. For the regional and departmental championships, the FFF has given instructions to perform at least one ascent and one descent in each group, applying a coefficient (number of points / number of games played). Therefore, the leaders of each group are automatically promoted, the red lanterns are automatically demoted. All our teams involved in the League or in the District should therefore evolve at the same level next season.
