an appliance with 16 washing programs for less than 150 euros

Xiaomi’s new mini washing machine is a compact appliance ideal for small apartments, caravans or small spaces where there is not much space available to install furniture. This product has been dubbed ‘Xiaomi Mijia Washing Machine Mini’ and it is intended as a personal use washing machine for a young audience.

Features of the washing machine

The model has a cubic shape with rounded corners, it only occupies 0.16 square meters of surface and has the capacity to introduce a kilo of clothes -which could be equal to ten towels-. However, do not think that a family could use this appliance, because it is especially intended for daily laundry for a single person or for washing clothes for a baby.

Small, but tough, this device has the same features as a conventional model, that is, has 16 specific washing programs -some of them are quick wash, cycle towels, underwear, baby or delicate garments. On the other hand, it is possible to choose up to ten types of treatment to remove chocolate stains, rubbing on shirt collars or cuffs.

Has high temperature or steam wash functions to disinfect clothes, taking into account that there are four levels of degrees of water up to 60º and it has the function of steam at 90º to eliminate bacteria.

This appliance can be controlled from the mobile app, being able to select the most suitable program, carry out follow-ups or see how much time is left for the wash to finish. All this without having to be in front of the device to be aware of the washing machine as we are used to.

The price of the vacuum cleaner is 999 euros.

Availability and price

Even though I still it is unknown if it will be available in other countries, will go on sale in China on October 1 at a price of 1,099 yuan (145 euros roughly). Hopefully it reaches Spain as soon as possible.
